Money Money Money!!
Year 2 recently had a visit from HSBC . The children were shown a range of coins and notes ...including the recently released new polymer 20 pound note. They were asked a range of challenging mathematical questions and were given the chance to design a possible £100 pound note for the Queen's 93rd birthday. Great fun was had by all!

What a fantastic way to encourage children to problem solve when thinking about money. I look forward to seeing the £100 note designs. Thanks to Mrs Banga from HSBC for leading the session.
